Cambridge, MA: Algiers Coffee House

I took this picture last night while I was at Harvard Square. Algiers Coffee House is this cute Algerian restaurant and cafe on Brattle Street. I hear it's a popular place to study when it's not so crowded. Not to mention it looks like a cool place to film a Rush Hour type fight scene as the railing to the left leads to the first floor ("Railing kill" to the MST3K nerds out there like myself).

This is a cool place to have mint tea with your moleskin journal.

Boston: Esplanade along Storrow Drive

This is also a popular running spot. The Esplanade is referred to the park that extends for miles around the Charles River and gets packed every Fourth of July. The barely noticeable dome to the left is an MIT building.

This past summer I would run here, and I would notice this single bench that was probably placed there for people to do some type of creative pursuit. I actually haven't journaled here yet.

Boston: Copley Square Fountain

Copley Square is a lot of fun. It's surrounded by the Boston Public Library, Old Trinity Church and the John Hancock Tower. During the summer there are farmer's markets every Tuesday and Friday where you can by a variety of tasty, local Massachusetts produce. Or you can just buy a hotdog from one of the carts.

It's a great place to put your feet in the water and draw, write, or read.

Boston: Reflection Pool at the Christian Science Center.

I love this spot because you're seeing so much in just this one place. Of course, the camera doesn't quite do it justice, and by no means am I a professional photographer. The tall building on the left is the Prudential Tower and can be seen in the opening of the movie "The Boondock Saints." The building with the columns below it is where they filmed a scene in the movie, "21," and the night Barack Obama won the 2008 presidential election, Northeastern University students flooded the pool.

Some of my best memories at this location have been sitting on the ground with a friend chatting, or, obviously, writing in my journal.
